Performing

Ben has skills in circus, acrobatics, clown, whip, giant puppets. He has performed internationally in festivals, parades, private functions on stages and roaming the streets.

Ben Fox has experience working in troupes as well as solo and collaborative devising.
“I can bring you an existing performance or we can work together to devise a unique show.”

Designing and making

Ben Fox studied design at Swinburne University, Melbourne and the Hanzehogeschool, Netherlands. He has since built experience in carpentry, metalwork, composite puppet structures, fabric and design for ease of transport. Ben enjoys a communicative open design process and working to a budget.
Fox has worked as a designer for international theatre companies, Australian festivals and Australian artists.

Teaching

Workshops available in circus skills, parade float and puppet making, devising a performance and set and prop construction

Workshops are available for all ages and abilities, on an ongoing or one-off basis.

Ben is an energetic, communicative and flexible workshop facilitator who has worked with a variety of audiences: from culturally and linguistically diverse communities within Australia and overseas to folks considered to have a disability; from to young adults within correctional facilities to strong-willed grandmas keeping their culture strong.
